Refunds and cancellation

You can cancel any order and receive a full refund at any time before your pickup window. Reply to your order confirmation email and we will take care of it the same day — no forms, no questions asked.

Once your pickup window has passed, orders are not eligible for a refund. Bakes are made fresh to order and held only until the end of your chosen pickup window.

Deposits on custom orders

Custom orders require a 50% deposit to hold your date on the calendar. The remaining balance is due when you pick up your order. Deposits are refundable up to 48 hours before your scheduled pickup date. Within 48 hours of the pickup date, the deposit is non-refundable because ingredients will have been purchased and preparation will be underway.

Allergen information

Every menu item lists its ingredients and allergens on its detail page. Our kitchen handles wheat, dairy, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, soy, and sesame. While we take care to follow the ingredient list for each bake, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment. If you have a severe allergy, please contact us before ordering so we can discuss what is safe.

Arkansas cottage food operation

Mississippi Makes operates as an Arkansas cottage food operation. All goods are baked in a home kitchen and sold directly to you — no middleman, no warehouse, no preservatives. Arkansas cottage food law permits the sale of non-perishable baked goods including breads, muffins, cookies, and cakes, which is exactly what we make. Cottage food products are not subject to the same inspection requirements as commercial food establishments.

Pickup no-show policy

Bakes are made fresh to order and held only until the end of your chosen pickup window. If you do not pick up your order during the selected window, the order is considered forfeited and no refund will be issued. If something comes up and you cannot make it, please contact us before your pickup window ends and we will do our best to work something out.

Order size

There is no minimum order — order a single cookie or a full box for the office. The only limit is what we can bake fresh for your pickup window.

Payment

Payment is collected online at the time of ordering via card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay through Stripe. Card details never touch our servers. Your bake is not scheduled until payment is received.
